The Cookie Monster has struck again!
The furry blue creature ate an entire supply of cookies from a Baltimore bakery, which angered the shop owner and its customers. "I've never seen such a phenomenon like this," said the owner of the Pratt Street Cookie Shop, a small bakery just east of downtown.
The whereabouts of the Cookie Monster are unknown, but he was sighted trying to sneak into a Towson bakery, and when he was denied access, he bribed the owner by offering him Orioles tickets. Then he went into the back room and ate the entire cookie supply there.
The Cookie Monster has also eaten whole supplies in Highlandtown, Catonsville, Owings Mills, White Marsh and Dundalk. He is often quoted as saying: "Me love Baltimore cookies. They taste the best." But when asked why he loves them, he always says: "Me don't know. Me just do."
Baltimore Police are offering $5,000 for the Cookie Monster's capture and arrest. He may try to wipe out another bakery in the Baltimore area, and he also has his sights set on Annapolis and Washington.
