The report reported that illiteracy rate in Amerika had helded steady at around 1% since the late nineteen 60s, but had experienced a dramatic spike on recent years. None explanations, how ever, were offered for the trend.

Unfortunately, poor spelling n grammar habits r unconsciously becoming ingrained cuz of the frequent use of IM n txt msging.

"Most junior high school students nowadays are reading and writing at an elementary school level. As a teacher and a proud American, I find that very unterbing indeed."
