After a year of the Administration's attempts at dehumanizing the people that they sent our American troops in to fight by calling them Thugs, Losers, Dead Enders and Assassins, George Bush has expressed outrage and disgust at the fact that several soldiers have taken his cue and treated Iraqi prisoners as if they were exactly what their Commander in Chief described them as. Ironically, in a speech given yesterday defending his now famous Mission Accomplished speech of May 1st, 2003, President Bush said,
"A year ago I did give the speech from the carrier saying that we had achieved an important objective, that we had accomplished a mission, which was the removal of Saddam Hussein. And as a result, there are no longer torture chambers or rape rooms or mass graves in Iraq."
Unfortunately for Mr. Bush, events had proved him wrong once again. Administration officials are scrambling yet one more time to rethink their strategy.
Unnamed Administration Source Wegman (Pudgy) Waterhouse, speaking on the condition of anonymity said, " Ok, so we lost the battle for the hearts and minds of the Arab world. Instead we've decided to win the battle for their blood and guts."
Mr. Bush was quoted as saying, "The war is going well...at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it."
