image for Koppel defends stance.
Short term memory loss? term not short enough. no memory to lose in the first place.

Ted Koppel today defended his decision to read out the names of the US soldiers killed in Iraq to serve as a reminder to the American people that there is a war going on.

An insider in the Koppel camp told a reporter from the Spoof that in Mr Koppels opinion that the only person that needs to be reminded that there are young men and women being killed in an unjustified war was really George W Bush and his hoard of money grabbing incubus underlings.

When the Spoof asked the Whitehouse for the official view of Mr Koppels dramatic move a spokesperson said "He's doing what? oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." and then proceeded to shove our reporter out of his way and took off down the corridor towards the oval office yelling "Mr President! we're really in the shit now! it's turning into Vietnam, Colin! Condi! Dick! quick we gotta neutralize this threat!"

Make Ross Douglas's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
