Atlanta, Georgia (IPP) - The Georgia Attorney General's office has filed a claim in Federal Court claiming that Niagara Falls actually belongs within the State of Georgia.
The suit claims that the waterfalls in Niagara were accidentally omitted from being inside the State of Georgia by a drunken map maker 200 years ago.
Georgia is suffering a record drought and is in an official state of exceptional drought which is more severe than an extreme drought. Lake Lanier is located north of Atlanta and holds most of Atlanta's water supply and as of last December 26 contained only enough water for a 90 day supply for 4.7 million Georgia residents.
Georgia Govenor Dempsy Dumpster IV is sending a contingent of trucks northward to Niagara Falls and the people driving the trucks have been instructed to fill as many 5 gallon buckets as possible and bring them back to Georgia as soon as possible.
The Georgia Governor also announced that the State is working on a project wherein litter lying along the road side will be converted to fresh water as there is an endless supply of road side litter through out all of the southern states.
