image for Florida Theme Park Bans Children
Adults only

Orlando, Florida (IPP) - A popular theme park in Florida has decided to ban children from its parks. Only adults 18 years old or older will be admitted from now on.

Spokesperson for the park, Donna Aflacson, says that children will not miss the theme parks because all they do when they go is play their portable video games and they hardly notice anything in the park.

Ms Aflacson says adults seem to enjoy the park more than children because it transports them to a fantasy world that helps them escape the daily pressures of the real world in much the same way that drugs do. She noted that children are in a fantasy world much of the time and have very little need for the escape thing.

Ms Aflacson told reporters that scientists have found that youth is wasted on the young who have little appreciation of how to put time to efficient use.
