District of Columbia (Reuterus) - According to the new book 'Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W. Bush', President Bush confessed to author Robert Draper that he has seen the ghost of Harry S. Truman in the White House. In addition, he admits to crying himself to sleep at night and to wetting the bed periodically.
"This really could not come at a worse time," said White House spokesperson Colby MacCheddar. "The President's approval ratings are already at an all-time low. So the fallout from this news could kill whatever dwindling support he has remaining."
Surprisingly, a telephone poll conducted recently determined that a majority of the President's supporters were not surprised by this news.
"Does he suck his thumb?" asked one respondent. "If not, then I will continue to support him. As long as he opposes abortion, gay marriage and thumb-sucking."
