US-Franco relations improved as two Presidents cosied up together by a lake at the foot of Brokeback Mountain in America.
George Bush of America persuaded Nicolas Sarkozy to accept an American sausage between two buns. Sarkozy smiled and said "That's good! Let me give you some French mustard."
And very soon, the two were at it, politicking in the mid-summer shade, watched only by woodland animals and a few hundred members of the Secret Service.
The Entente Cordiale marked a break from traditional hostile relations between the two countries, epitomized by Jacques Chirac's anti-US stance. Nicolas Sarkozy took a very different stance and was very soon stuffing his mouth with American wiener.
An anonymous Secret Service agent told our reporter that he found the whole scene nauseating. "It will never last. Bush's obviously on the rebound from Blair. He may see Sarkozy but secretly he yearns for Blair. I say bring back Clinton. That was one son of a bitch who knew how to have illicit affairs between two Bushes and get away with it."
George Bush brought Mum Barbara and Dad former President Bush into the rendezvous, though they sensibly stayed well away from the pair. Sarkozy's wife and children, also invited to the orgy, feigned sore throats.
Sarkozy and Bush Junior, on the other hand, can expect to have very sore throats in the morning.
