Washington D.C.- White House Officials today are in chaos in the aftermath of the theft of President Bush's "Mojo".
Security camera's caught the man in this photo crossing the street and believe the Mojo is in a plastic bag.
The man is believed to be character actor Dom Deluise, who appeared in several Mel Brooks movies as well as co-starring with Burt Reynolds in Smokey and Bandit parts I and II. Friends and family of Dom have not heard from him, but say he has been very unhappy about the Iraq war.
"He has seemed distraught here lately," said his wife, "he even has said things like 'Somebodies got to do something', but he's such a kidder. I'd never expect him to follow through with something."
"We are asking that Mr. Deluise appear for questioning," said an FBI official, "nothing bad has happened so far, nobody has been hurt, but we don't want this situation to escalate and get out of hand."
In the White House itself officials are quite adamant about the mojo's safe return, "Mrs. Bush is quite distraught by the theft. She's been wandering around saying things like 'Oh my Daddy's lost his stick'. Worst of all there is now talk by the President himself of beginning an immediate withdrawal from Iraq."
Vice President Cheney was seen earlier today cleaning his shotgun multiple times and talking about taking the President hunting to get his mind off of things.
As of press time a ransom note had been delivered to the FBI. While its entire 20 page contents were not released, key elements were:
The Presidents Mojo is safe, but it will be destroyed unless he and the Vice President agree to step down. In their place, I and Burt Reynolds will take over until the end of Mr. Bush's present term. If my terms are not met, Mr. Bush's Mojo will be cooked in my next cooking video.
The note was signed, DD.
