A man questioned by police at LaGuardia airport in New York after smuggling a monkey onto a flight from Florida by hiding it under his hat, said the monkey made him do it.
Passengers spotted the animal when it climbed out and perched on the man's ponytail, as Mickey the Monkey told reporters.
'I just wanted a day out. When you have lived in New York for as long as I have, you just need some time away, you ask anyone here, and they will all agree with me'
The hairy biped continued: 'He blames me, and he is right, it was all my idea, I wanted a seat to myself, but the cheapskate could not afford it, so I hid under my his hat, but he told me that there was some talent on board, and I just had to look. You can't really blame a Monkey for trying, can you?' he asked, rhetorically.
In an unrelated story, an astronaut was caught trying to smuggle an octopus aboard a Space Shuttle, and his case is still pending. We wanted to ask Noah how he got away with it, but unfortunately, he did not return any of our calls.
