image for Hare Club for Men's Presidents Arrested for False Claims

Horsebreath, Iowa (IP) - Hare Club for Men presidents Telly Savalas and Yul Brynner were arrested on false claims and advertising today . They had been showing before and after photographs of their supposed customers.

Photo A would show the client bald before using their treatment products and the adjacent Photo B would show the much improved hair filled scalp of what we were supposed to believe was the same person.

They ran into trouble when a tall, thin, white and obviously Anglo-Saxon person was displayed in the first photo and in the second photo was a short, dark, pleasntly plump, Australian aborigine chap with profuse hair sporting African-like characteristics including dread-locks. Some viewers became aware of the misrepresentation and complained to the Truth in Advertising Council which had to be let out of their maximum security cells so they could investigate the alleged infraction.

There are rumors that there is an impending investigation in the works in reference to weight loss products TV commercials who are using similar techniques. One advertisement shows a very plump woman in the first photo and the second photo shows an emaciated octopus wearing a
stolen from Sea Kingdom tee-shirt. A spokesperson for the investigating team says they are simply waiting for a member of the TV viewing audience to take notice of the possible discrepancy and then file a formal compalint on this issue.
