WASHINGTON - President Bush signed another dictatorial 'Executive Directive' this morning banning the sale and possession of the trendy 'Toilet Targets' that have been popping-up in public bathrooms, sports bars, and homes across the country.
The popular 'Targets' are a thin plastic, removable disk - similar to removable window decals - that have images on them. They are placed in urinals and toilets as a 'target' to be urinated on.
Mr. Bush signed the 'directive' after several of the Toilet Targets - with Bush's image on them - appeared in White House and Capitol Building bathrooms shortly after Independence Day.
"We've sold over 500,000 of the 'Targets' with Bush's image on them; I can barely keep them on the shelves," said Jim Pinebranch, owner of Toilet Targets LLC, that manufactures and sells the now-banned item. Pinebranch said he will continue selling the 'Targets' as a First Amendment right to Freedom of Speech.
"I like to call them 'Freedom Targets,'" he said.
VP Dick Cheney targets have sold nearly as many as Bush's with sales of 480,000.
They sell for $9.98 and can be found in most big-chain stores.
