Washington DC - (Ass Mess): The Scooter Libby justice perversion trial's Prosecutor Patrick FitzGerald has slammed those who commit perjury "when they raise their hand and take an oath in a judicial proceeding or traditional Presidential swearing-in ceremony."
His statement comes amid the Prosecution's recommendations that the lying, cheating, obfuscating Bush Administration worm Scooter Libby serves at least three years for four counts of obstruction of justice, perjury and making false statements in the Valerie Plame outing affair.
Fitzgerald's sentencing memorandum slams Libby as a remorseless toerag who has never expressed a shred of remorse, accepted any responsibility of recognised any wrong-doing in shielding Vice President Dick Cheyen and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales from their reign of mendacious terror.
"The fundamental principle of preserving our judicial system's independence from politics must be upheld," FitzGerald told the court.
"Regardless of political affiliation, views on policies or national issues, employment in the White House or on a State level: there's no getting away from the law that says they must tell the truth when they raise their hand and takes an oath before the People.
"The Prosecution rests Your Honor."
