image for 'Forgotten Bush' Ponders Political Future
Elmer Bush gathers his thoughts during a break from Town Hall

Bent Ring, AL - Jed, George Herbert, and of course, "Dubya". We all know the names of this modern day "Scam-a-lot" political dynasty. But what about Elmer Bush? The quiet, slow, middle son of the Bush family, a local government representative in his hometown, keeps a low profile on his sprawling ranch in eastern Alabama. Does he long for the political glory of his siblings?

"I don't much care for how my brothers run their affairs," said Elmer of George and Jed's political methods. "It hurts that they never invite me to attend televised events. I don't get it." Elmer insists he isn't bitter. "I just think I'm more evolved than either of those two idiots."
