In Washington yesterday, President George W. Bush was reunited with his long, lost twin brother, Greg, William Baker (Bush). For years it had been a secret in the Bush family that George had a twin.
"When they were born, we thought they were so cute, the pair of them, but we just couldn't keep them both..." Sobbed Former First Lady, Barbra Bush.
Greg had been trying for years to reunite himself with his family, but his efforts were always stopped by the Bush family.
"We were just not ready for George to know... With the election and all, we told him that it just wasn't time..." Former President Bush told The Spoof.
Greg didn't give up, though. He continued to talk to the Bush family, begging them to see how much he belonged with his relatives. They finally agreed.
"We wanted to talk to George first. We wanted to explain everything to him..." Barbra said, after dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief.
The Bush Family gathered shortly after Thanksgiving and told George W. and Laura about the family secret. George W. was said to have cried and wanted to meet his brother as soon as possible.
"I always knew I was adopted. My family was honest about them, they knew the Bush family..." Greg Said before the touching reunion.
"I had some doubts, but when I saw Greg enter my office, it was like looking in a mirror!" George W said.
The doors to the Oval Office swung open and Greg walked in, George W lit up with surprise and it seemed that he was complete. The Bush family has agreed that the mistakes of the past have been rightfully mended.
"A lesson was learned here today!" Said Former President Bush.
As for George and Greg, they have many years to make up in a short time. They will be spending their free time getting acquainted.
"I even have some ideas to help you out!" Greg told George jokingly.
Let's hope they can spend much more time together in the next year! That election should free up George W's schedule!
