A sleepover consisting of twelve pre-teen girls planned for tomorrow night will most likely cause distress to the teenage brother of the girl at whose house the event will take place.
Twelve year old Elisa McArthur, who turns 12 years old today, is having her birthday sleepover tomorrow night - a Friday night. Friday was chosen because Saturdays are not work days for most parents, which will ease the scheduling of retrieving the girls. McArthur invited 12 girls to the party, 11 of which have confirmed their attendance. One girl remains noncommittal pending the return of a test for strep throat for her six year old brother.
McArthur's 16 year old brother, Tanner, has expressed concern that the event will cause him distress and interfere with his plans for the evening. When asked what plans might be in jeopardy, Tanner McArthur responded "I don't know. Whatever I want to do."
Mary McArthur, mother of both Elise and Tanner, said that while their house will indeed be more noisy than usual, and there will be a gaggle of tween girls running amok, they will be instructed to stay out of Tanner's room.
