Washington DC (STT News) - Potential presidential candidate and former First Lady, Hillary Clinton, has come out with guns blazing on the subject of Russia's move into Ukraine. In her words, she compared Putin's move into the Crimea like Hitler's into Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia and elsewhere. "All the Germans that were ... the ethnic Germans, the Germans by ancestry who were in places like Czechoslovakia and Romania and other places, Hitler kept saying they're not being treated right. I must go and protect my people and that's what's gotten everybody so nervous."
Nervous indeed, especially for those of the Democrat Party and others closely tied to Obama's agenda of gutting US military force in order to fund other projects and costs. In one hallway on Capitol Hill, a well-known liberal lawmaker was heard saying that Hillary should be cautious or she might come across as someone willing to be associated with the American flag. "That's just not what our party's goal is about."
On the opposite political side of the nation's capital, many members of the GOP seemed to be equally as frightened. The idea of Hillary standing firm for her nation in a time of peril has taken the entire country by surprise. "She has really rocked the political boat here." one unnamed Republican said. "If she has a genuine interest in protecting the nation and our allies, it could cause a major collapse from within both political polarities."
Meanwhile, several well-known talkshow hosts have gone on record as saying that Hillary is simply playing the field for votes. "She knows as well as all Democrats that Obama's anti-American agenda is on the verge of major failure in the upcoming vote in November. She's just getting some space between them, is all."
