Washington, DC-- Michelle Obama has announced that she intends to run for political office this coming November. The first lady is borrowing a page from Hillary Clinton's playbook and will be entering the political arena. Polls already show Mrs. Obama ahead in the race and she is expected to win an easy victory.
If Mrs. Obama wins in November she plans to use the victory as a springboard for the presidency.
"We need a woman president--or two!" laughed Mrs. Obama during an impromptu news conference. "I am running for office this November, so come out and vote for me!" shouted Mrs. Obama with delight. "I need your support!" she laughed some more.
Mrs. Obama plans to make her own path in politics. Unlike her husband, she will neither run for the House nor the Senate.
"I'm going to run for local dog-catcher in November!" said Mrs. Obama. "I like dogs, and I like people! I really want this job!" she shouted enthusiastically.
Although the dog-catcher job only pays @24,000.00 a year, Mrs. Obama wasn't disheartened.
"When you're a dog-catcher you get to wear a great looking uniform--plus they have a great dental insurance!" she laughed.
