Arnold Mason and Donald Heart say that they are only staying together because of the children.
"They would be broken hearted if we separated", stated Mason. "That Donald's always got his nose stuck up somebody's backside and I would ask him to leave but then we would have to explain it to Tammy and Leonard."
The two children had been adopted shortly after the two men got together and went to get legally married.
"I try to do my best when he comes back home, especially when the kids are home from school but as soon as they are gone, I tell that big rear end of a horse what I really think of him."
Another thing Mason stated that he wouldn't allow was all of the "Uncles" that showed up with Donald.
"He began running around on me after the first six months. Then he left for a week and came back with his butt in a sling and expected me to take care of him. Ha! I told him I knew that big German would tear him a new one and he could stay but he'd crawl around the house to get to the table as far as I was concerned."
Mason said that the kids were precious and told story after story about their first days with the couple.
"What's wrong with Donnie?" asked Tammy. "He walks funny."
"Yes he does. ha ha. Guess he bit off more than he could chew."
