image for Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Has Agreed To Ride On Cracker Barrel's Tournament of Roses Parade Float
Phil Robertson will ride on the float but he vetoed the idea of him wearing a red rose in his beard.

WEST MONROE, Louisiana - After being on Cracker Barrel's persona non grata list for about a day, things have suddenly flip-flopped for Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson.

The bearded duck call inventor has just stated that he spoke to an attorney representing the Cracker Barrel Restaurant chain and he has agreed to ride the Cracker Barrel float in this year's Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.

Robertson was stunned at the amount of money that the restaurant chain has agreed to pay him.

He did ask if he could bring along some of his kinfolk and he was told that he could bring along anyone he wanted.

SIDENOTE: Phil Robertson will be joining the ranks of some well known celebrities who have ridden on the Cracker Barrel float in the past including Loretta Lynn, Louisiana fiddler Doug Kershaw, Gary Busey, and tennis great Martina Navratilova.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
