WASHINGTON, D.C. - Queen Elizabeth called up Michelle Obama and told her that she felt bad about England going against the United States and voting not to have anything to do with Syria.
The queen remarked that she could not believe it when she saw the announcement on the BBC and on The Ta Ta For Now News Agency.
Mrs. Obama told her that she understood since the United States has put up with that from France ever since World War II ended.
The queen then suggested to Mrs. Obama that she thought that it would be a good idea if the both of them traveled to Damascus, Syria and spoke with President Bashar al-Assad personally.
The First Lady agreed and when she informed her husband, the president about it he smiled and said, "Michelle my belle, go for it hon. I support you and Lizzy one hundred and ten percent."
SIDENOTE: Mrs. Obama will travel on Air Force One to London and from there her and Queen Elizabeth will fly to Damascus.
