The proposed George Zimmerman Theme Park has been voted down by the Florida Senate.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida - National Focus Magazine is reporting that the heated issue of a George Zimmerman Theme Park has caused quite a hoopla in the Plywood State of Florida.

State Senator Claxton F. Malagueña [D-Fort Walton Beach] spearheaded a drive in the state senate to kill the proposal which would have seen the state fund and build the George Zimmerman Theme Park in Pensacola.

The senator from Fort Walton Beach stated that in the 40 years that he has been a member of the Florida state senate he has never seen such an angry debate as he did with the theme park issue.

He noted that the matter got so heated that one senator threatened to beat up another senator.

Luckily the Sergeant-at-Arms stepped in and told Senator Roscoe Bickerbocker [R-Miami] to settle down since he outweighed Senator Sally Escondido [D-Key West] by at least 117 pounds and there is no way it could have been a fair fight.

The George Zimmerman Theme Park proposal was defeated by a vote of 27-13.

IN A RELATED STORY. Plans to name the new YMCA building in Miami after George Zimmerman have been dropped due to a tremendous public outcry from Miami Dolphin and Miami Heat fans.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
