President Barack Obama announced yesterday that in order to decrease dependence on foreign oil, he would be calling for a two hour adjustment to clocks in the United States. According to sources close to the White House, this is expected to save an estimated $2 Billion in energy costs.
Scientists are still skeptical about the effectiveness of this new plan.
John Kitching, head of the new Chip-Scale atomic clock had this to say: "Does Obama even know what he is doing at this point? Does he realize what it takes to recalibrate one of these things?" The President could not be reached for comment.
