WASHINGTON, D.C.--While giving a speech on the War on Terror Thursday, President Obama was rudely interrupted by a barrage of factual statements and ethical standards by a member of leftist activist group Code Pink.
"Asking [Obama] why the 86 Guantanamo detainees that have been cleared for release are still imprisoned constitutes the height of disrespect," commented White House correspondent Jonathan Karl. "Furthermore, I'm all for rigorous political debate, but you cross a serious line when you ask the president to defend his order to assassinate a 16-year-old American without trial. Thank heavens they got her out before the president would have been forced to attempt to present a coherent framework for his foreign policy."
At press, the heckler was being audited by the I.R.S.
