The NRA dominated US House of Representatives introduced legislation today combining a new law titled BYGO (Blow Your guts out) with the existing Stand Your Ground gun laws.
Wayne LaPierre, Chairman of the NRA explained the law at an early morning press conference. "This new law," said LaPierre, "is a natural step in the re-defining of gun rights in our country. It is a matter of taking word to deed, so to speak, or in-decision to decision. No longer will a bump in the elevator or a thump on the back be a cause for unresolved fear. Those moments of fuzzy thinking and tip-toeing self-doubt will no longer threaten your very existence. BYGO will let your trigger finger do the walking as your pistol does the talking. It is time to take America back from the bad guys with guns by the good guys with guns. BYGO will do that," he paused, "and never forget this for one minute, there are the good guys and there re the bad guys. The good guys always get to decide who's who!"
As LaPierre started to leave the podium a reporter called out, "Mr. Chairman, won't this lead to hundreds, if not thousands of deaths of innocent people?"
Reports state that LaPierre's face flushed red with anger as he replied, "Sure! There could be a mistake now and again," he paused in an obvious attempt to control his anger, "but it's about damn time we let BYGO's be BYGO's in this country!"
