WASHINGTON, D.C. - After President Obama and Aretha Franklin each gave respectively a resounding speech and rendition of the National Anthem four years ago, it seems that the designers of the second inaugural ceremony pulled a full-on Milli Vanilli on America.
Critics say it wasn't immediately obvious that the president was, in fact, mouthing the words to his inaugural speech. However, once he was a few minutes into his remarks, a recorder malfunction occurred.
In particular, something appeared to be amiss when Mr. Obama stated: "....Or build the roads and networks the roads and networks the roads and networks the roads and networks the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores."
Upon hearing the news, singer Aretha Franklin reportedly laughed.
