TOPEKA - After a heated debate that lasted six hours, the Kansas State Senate has voted 21 to 19 to prohibit the use of the French sexual term Ménage à Trois.
Senator Agatha Tarbutton, 71, of Wichita, initially made the proposal after she was at a mall in her hometown and she heard two school age children using that sexual term.
When she asked the two students where they had learned that phrase they replied that they had heard someone mention it in the school cafeteria.
Senator Tarbutton stressed that she is no prude but she will not have young Kansas children going around talking like Hollywood tarts Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Chelsea Handler.
Meanwhile Senator Hannibal Bunkalini, 49, from Kiowa, laughed at Senator Tarbutton and told her that she needs to get out of her Father Knows Best, Ozzie and Harriet, and Leave It To Beaver 50s TV sit-com mentality.
Senator Tarbutton explained that if kids are not stopped from using filthy, vulgar language such as the sexual phrase Ménage à Trois, next they'll start publicly using words like hooters, hooha, booty, and wiener.
