Boise, ID - On a day that the air was as crisp an the bacon goodness on grandma's apple pie, Idahoan's found out a disturbing piece news, all their potatoes are gone. GOP representative Raul Labrador was in Boise, ID today to speak on behalf of all the farmers of Idaho.
In November 2012 it was estimated that Idaho had a stockpile of nearly two million pounds of potatoes that was to feed the people of the state but as of Monday, this week, there are no more potatoes.
"This is devastating to the farmers here in Idaho" said Labrador.
The stockpile of potatoes is kept in a below ground silo that was once used for military operations, mostly because its the only hole in Idaho to hold over two million pounds of potatoes.
Photos where shown with the silo cresting with the carb goodies and dated November 14th, 2012. Local authorities do not have any leads at this time but one Idaho sheriff suggested he would be looking into the Hamburglers activities surrounding the last few weeks.
As for now, Idaho will be depending on California grown potatoes to support the people of Idaho nutritional needs.
