A handyman from California who went missing six months ago has told police that he was taken hostage and forced to do odd jobs around a large house.
Gordon Bucket said that after being hired to fix a leaking tap at the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills he was told that he couldn't leave. He was then forced to do jobs like sorting lingerie and handing towels to bunny girls.
"I've never seen this man nor do I know who he is." Hugh Hefner told reporters yesterday. "There were complaints from some of the girls that underwear was being riffled through and that they felt someone was watching them. It wasn't till one of the girls phoned the police that we found the man hiding in a storage room."
A former 'Playboy' centerfold Pixie Lee was accused by the man of locking him up in the room. "It's silly I never saw this old smelly man. I wouldn't want to keep an old smelly man in my room or let him in my room. Well Hef of course but he is a rich old smelly man."
As more details emerged the police contacted Mr Bucket's wife and after a short meeting officers decided to place Mr Bucket in protective custody. Meanwhile a team of thirty policemen are investigating at the Playboy Mansion.
