WASHINGTON, D.C. - In a move to show that the United States does not think bad of Kate Middleton for having been photographed topless, President Obama and Vice-President Biden have decided to extend to her a cordial invitation of support.
The president stated that the idea was the vice-president's and after discussing the matter with the First Mama and the Second Gal and getting Michelle and Jill's approval the White House Kate Middleton Fandango was given the presidential green light.
Apparently the invitation does not extend to Kate's husband Prince William. When the president was asked if this was simply an oversight on the part of the White House he grinned and replied, "Ah, that be a no."
He was asked to explain. He stated that he did not have time as he had to meet with the president of Lower Zamgola, but added that Joey (the vice-president) would be more than happy to explain.
The vice-president took the podium and pointed out that the reason why Prince William was not invited was because President Obama had decided that it would be best if Kate simply got away from all of the brouhaha for a while by herself.
SIDENOTE: When President Obama was told that Queen Elizabeth was not happy about the barbecue the president replied, "Well all I will say about that is that she can build a bridge and get over it."
