image for Nonagenarian Couple Celebrates Their 75th Wedding Anniversary
Time Flies When You're Having Fun!

Kissimmee FL: A lavish anniversary party was held at Disney World for Betty and Harold Smith originally from Minot ND, currently retired to Tampa FL, having been married to each other for 75 years.

The celebration was held at a hotel in the Magic Kingdom, being planned by the couple's 15 great grandchildren and was not a surprise party for obvious reasons. The Smiths three children, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other family members and numerous friends all attended.

The banquet table seating was arranged by age with anyone 50 years of age or under sitting at a children's table.

There was plenty of Ensure and pabulum, but the majority of the senior citizens preferred steaks, pizzas, French fries, ice cream and Black Forest cake as fat, cholesterol, salt and sugar worries have long been dismissed. Party favors consisted of diapers, Depends, power chairs, canes and walkers for senior citizens. The younger folks all received trial AARP memberships.

Playboy bunny waitresses and Chippendale dancers provided entertainment, evoking fond memories of bygone days and inspiration for Betty and Harold's evening hours.

At the end of the festivities Betty and Harold thanked all the guests for coming and remembered seeing Donald Mouse and Mickey Duck while last visiting Disneyland in California, when their own children were growing up. Next year they promised that for their 76th Anniversary they were going to Las Vegas NV to see Old Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

Chauffeured limousines transported senior citizen guests who didn't drive at night to other local hotels, private residences or airports.
