South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Alaska Governor Sara Palin have teamed up and issued a challenge for a beauty contest amongst Democrat and Republican Women.
Contestants will vie for a coveted position in politics for their respective party and a $3 million dollar purse. Contestants will be judged on poise, beauty, public speaking and news worthiness.
Governor Haley stated, "While we all know that as far as beauty and brains go, Republican women have the market cornered, but we want to put that theory to the test by challenging the Democrat party to put their, chuckle, "best" against us."
Governors Haley and Palin have already signed on for the Republican Party all the female news anchors (Dana Perino, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Megyn Kelly, etc...)from Fox News, Congresswomans Michele Bachmann and Mary Bono Mack, and to round out the list Michelle Malkin.
North Carolina Governor Bev Purdue retaliated by saying that they have all the female anchors from CNN and MSNBC on their roster as well as Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
The competition will be held over a 7-day period and the public will be able to watch and cast their votes for their favorite like American Idol. Simon Cowell, Steve Perry, L.A. Reid and Drew Carey will be judging the contestants.
