image for Earth Drawing Appeal of Tomatoes

The Earth has a new ally against secret religions in the universe. The tomato!

In a new push to bring new lifeforms to Earth, scientists have developed a special brand of tomato called Earthy. This fruit/vegetable when sliced in half will reveal a small earth globe within.

The Earthy was developed within the confines of special laboratories in NASA where vegetable scientists have researched the possibility of creating a special fruit / vegetable to bring more universal recognition of Earth. Their first attempt ended badly when they designed the first assassin cucumber which when cut would shower the room with heavily pollinated seeds that grew at a rapid pace. Though tests seemed promising, scientists felt that the rapid growth might be mistaken for an invasion. Their next attempt was a corn kernel that when cooked would multiply rapidly creating a food service for aliens. The most successful attempt has been the Earthy tomato as it does not cause rapid growth but instead instils a desire to come to Earth.

The Earthy tomato has already created a stir within the Martian planet causing the group known as Popular Red Planet association to send out warnings to Martians throughout Mars to not eat the tomato. In a statement posted on their Facebook page, "Eating tomatoes is forbidden because they are red. The tomato, because of its color, is an affront to Martians everywhere and may cause young Martians to exodus to Earth."

A female Martian (?), after eating a tomato, began speaking in Earth dialects and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Another Martian stated, "I saw blue skies, oceans and felt a nice, seasonal breeze on my antenna.
