"God works in mysterious ways -- and our baby girl has seen the light...Amen" says Katie Perry's parents. They have been praying day and night for her divorce from the meek, Russell Branded. "God has filled the rafters of our church, hallelujah rejoice all sinners," screamed Mary Hudson.
Pastors Keitha and Harry Hudson preached and prayed to the congregation at Church Of The Risen in Westtake, CA on Wednesday, says The Hollywood Sun, in an appearance that was advertised by the church as a blessed sublime event.
Perry's mom, Mary, speaking for the first time about the split, told parishioners, "Katie is treading on the internet to get the world to church tonight. I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them to us...praise the Lord? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the will of fire and ice in you in 2012, rise up."
At one point, Perry's dad said, "What has taken place in my daughter's life has opened many opportunities to go in and be with your savior, be guarded and gated heavenly children of the universe. God has given us a worship platform to go in and meet the angels -- and we are God fearing mortals. We will walk with you and lead you not into temptation and deliver you from evil. Walk with Katie and see the light, Hallelujah."
