Madison, Wisconsin--Scott Walker thinks it is afraid of people that openly carry their firearms. He held a press conference to announce that he fears crazy gun owners.

"I want to be safe, and think it is dangerous to around people that need to take their firearms everywhere they go, so I am banning openly carrying weapons from all state buildings I might be in." Scott Walker told reporters.

Scott Walker did sign the NRA legislation that allows Wisconsinites to carry concealed firearms.

"I think people should be allowed to carry concealed weapons, but not around me. You never know what those crazy people might do, and when one of those concealed weapons might go off. I am just way too important to the people of Wisconsin to put myself in harms way." Mr. Walker added.

One reporter asked if his stance seemed hypocritical?

"I am just thinking about my safety. It isn't hypocritical to want to be safe." Mr. Walker said.

The governor didn't want to go on record and say he thought the law was a bad idea, but he did want to thank the NRA for lobbying to get the law passed.
