A disturbing report from Homeland Security is claiming that US based terror cells are masquerading as animal lovers and pet owners purely to use their loyal and unsuspecting dogs, cats and gerbils as walking time bombs.
The report, leaked to the Washington Post late Wednesday, details a rise in pet ownership, mainly puppies and kittens by known Islamic sympathizers, it also claimed that these animals are being fitted with explosive coats and collars, which can be detonated remotely.
As winter approaches it is far easier to dress a dog in clothing and it is a ploy that the government can take no chances in stopping.
Shoot on sight policy
The plan by terrorists is to unleash animals in public spaces, such as parks, malls and metro systems. These innocent, caring and trusting animals are then remotely detonated causing carnage and horror.
Authorities though are taking no chances. A new shoot on sight policy is being adopted and any animal spotted unleashed in any public area will be shot immediately and it's body mutilated beyond recognition as a warning to others.
Animal rights groups have backed the move. A spokeswoman announced that while it is a sad thing to do, shooting dead unleashed animals, they see the need and hope that it will be a deterrent to others, tempted to placate their terror masters.
