image for Ball on Line
Is this Ball Online?

In a desperate match between a football team and another football team, the ref gave a goal in the dying minutes that was disputed by a player who asserted that the ball was on the line not over it.

Online pictures from twitter confirm the footballer is correct and that the goal should not have been given.

Restrictions will not allow me to name the footballer, the match being played or even the result, because of an injuction brought out by the footballer.

Efforts to get a sitting of the House of Lords so we can know the result of this game have been put on hold until Monday, when a member is going to declare not only the result but the match played and the online footballer's name.

In a statement from the footballer's solicitor I have been reminded that 'further unknown action' is likely to follow my breach of the Official Secret's Act by making these facts public.

Make j.w.'s day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
