A leading betting shop has announced that Jedward are now the favourites to win the Eurovision Song contest. The shock announcement comes just one day after their fantastic appearance in the Euro Semi Finals.
That appearance proved to the world that Jedward are a world class act and not just a flash in the X-factor pan. Louis Walsh is said to be over the moon and is looking forward to managing them to further glory next year when they launch their first album in America.
Blue, on the other hand are said to be very upset about all the hype surrounding the brothers Grime. One of them, who can't be named for reasons pertaining to forgettability, is said to have been astonished that their own song wasn't liked as much as Jedward's. He is said to have said:
"I don't know what went wrong. We followed the formula for the creation of a very dull, bland pop song like we always do, and we ended up with a song that sounded very much like the boring, bland, dull pop songs that got us to the top of the charts. We're completely shocked that a fun, bouncy, catchy tune might be about to beat us in the Euro contest."
Another member of blue stamped on that other members foot and said "Don't tell them about the formula. No one's supposed to know about it. If everyone finds out about it then they'll all be able to sound crap like us too."
Jedward laughed when they heard this and said "Blue are like so over. No one's going to want their formula, anyway. If we found it in their dressing room, we'd put it in the bin...along with all the members of Blue"
Upon being asked what their next move might be after possibly winning the Euro Contest, they were said to have said. "We're going to start a campaign to get "My lovely Horse" by Father Ted to the top of the pop charts in every European city in the world. We want everyone to wear T shirts saying "Ted and Jed Number One Together". It'll be great"
Katarina Frogpond (that's me) thinks that's an excellent idea. She will definitely be wearing this T shirt for at least half of the show. For the other half of the show she will be wearing a T-shirt that says "Let's Boo Boring Blue Off The Euro stage."
