Pippa Middleton, the young lady with the alluring and much admired posterior who stole the show at last week's Royal Wedding, has confided to close friends that she just wants to adopt a low profile and fade out of the limelight.
Ten days ago, very few people were even aware that this enchanting young lady even existed - now her name seems to be on everybody's lips following her emergence as a global superstar.
Now, she seems to be everywhere you look, and not always portrayed in a very complimentary light, which is disappointing. Or not. Depending on how you look at it really.
"Pippa simply went viral," a friend explained. "She went from being a little heard of albeit absolutely delightful young lady, into being this global sensation. It wouldn't surprise me to discover that she's even being talked about on Venus, or Mars. Can they get Sky HD out there?"
Sources close to Pippa explained that she was "a tad disappointed" to see all the photoshopped stuff and the cruel jibes aimed at her on the internet.
"Most of the stuff we found on the net was fairly complimentary," Niall Jazz-Singer-Diamond, a trusted confidant explained. "But there was without doubt some dubious content. Pips just wants all the hullabaloo to die down, so that she get back to normal and get on with her life. We've been told that she's been receiving daily telephone calls from Victoria Beckham, giving solid advice about how to shun the spotlight without souring relations with the media. Victoria has been an absolute rock over the last few days."
Rumours that Prince Harry had been spotted hovering in the vicinity of Pippa in a helicopter gunship have not been confirmed.
More as we get it.
