image for Philip Treacy Devastated by The Princess Beatrice Loo Seat Tragedy
The Day of The Terrible Loo Seat Tragedy

Close friends of Royal Hat Maker Philip Treacy have tonight revealed that he has been admitted to hostpital suffering from embarrassment and guilt. Both of these conditions are said to have been caused by The Princess Beatrice Loo seat disaster.

One particular friend said that Mr Treacy will be haunted by this tragedy forever, but he wants everyone to know that it was a mistake. He doesn't want anyone to think he did what he did deliberately just to make the Poor Princess look silly.

The mistake is said to have happened on the morning of the Royal wedding when Mr Treacy was busy fixing Victoria Beckham's hat.

He was so busy that morning that he didn't have time to fit Beatrice's hat himself. So he gave her directions to the room that the hat was in, and Beatrice put the hat on all by herself, and away she went to enjoy the royal wedding.

Mr Treacy said he never actually saw her in the "hat" until he caught sight of her on the television coverage of the Royal Wedding. It was only then that he realised he'd made the biggest mistake of his career.

He is said to have pointed at the television, ran into the bathroom and screamed. Because... right there in his bathroom... his worst fear had been revealed. Princess Beatrice had mistaken his loo seat for a hat and had put it on her head.

He then ran out of the bathroom and pointed at the television and said "That's my loo seat. That's my loo seat."

Apparently Mr Treacy is said to have repeated the words over and over again until someone phoned an ambulance. He is now resting comfortably and doesn't want to see anymore hats ever again.

Princess Beatrice, however, is said to be completely in the dark about the whole mix up. She still thinks it was the nicest hat she has ever seen in her whole life.

Its is a tragedy that could only happen to a member of the Royal Family. There bad luck continues. Its so sad.
