Prince William and Kate Middleton are taking a Scottish title to commemorate where they first met.
The couple first met at St Andrews University 8 years ago and, ever since they decided to get married, they always intended to mark the start of their relationship by taking an appropriate title.
And so, as a tribute to the first place they ever met, the Prince and Princess are also to be known as the Duke and Duchess Kinness Fry bar.
The fast food outlet has long been a popular venue for students thanks to its convenient location 5 minutes from the town centre.
Prince William's spokesman, Anthony Camberwell-Smythe revealed that the couple had also considered taking the title the Duke and Duchess of the Himalayas (named after the putting green where they spent many a pleasurable Sunday afternoon), but "that would have been too off the wall".
