Jesse Eisenberg has been type-cast as a nerd and true to form is going to do the voice of a 'geeky' blue parrot called 'Blu'.

Blu, is a rare species of Blue Macaw and lives in a book shop in Moose Lake, Minnesota.

The blue parrot is sent to Rio to mate with the last female Blue Macaw of their species but they end up in lost in the wild through a series of misadventures. It will be a treat for children to watch the animation which is by the 'Ice Age' animation team.

The main characters are voiced by Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway and George Lopez. The film will be released in China on April 8, 2011.

Jesse Eisenberg said that he is hoping that Google will do a Googledoddle featuring the rare blue macaws.

In an interview he said that Mark Zuckenberg is all for the new project and was enthusiastic that Jesse was doing Blu's voice. The geeky Facebook founder said that he was 'proud to be associated with that beautiful rare bird.'

Snooty Harvard said it had 'no comment' and that it in no way believes that 'The Social Network' in its depiction of class and snobbery depicts what the ethos of the university.

Jesse Eisenburg said that he had met Mark Zuckenberg and that he is much nicer in real life than portrayed in the film. Eisenberg said he was 'disappointed' at how the film was edited.

Eisenberg said Zuckenberg is a big fan of 'Adventure Land' and wants him to star in a sequel; which shows how the college kids buy their own theme park and sell shares in it.
