Scottish National Party leader Alex Salmond has been criticised for not doing more to tackle anti social behaviour during live coverage of first minister's questions on February 24th, 2011.
Angry viewers from all over the country phoned in to the BBC to complain about the number of times the question and answer session was interrupted by opposition MPs shouting from the benches and not even waiting for their time to speak.
There were constant cat calls and howls of derision which regularly drowned out the first minister's words and , in the words of a disgruntled viewer from Lerwick , "spiyelt the hale damned thing".
'Angry From Helensburgh' complained that the whole broadcast was ruined by the ignorant behaviour from the back benches and suggested that "Alex Salmond should have come down hard on the perpetrators like a ton of bricks and told them to shut up or get out".
The comments have since been passed onto the First Minister.
