A Nice Dog - One Which Won't Try To Bite Your Face Off Or Eat Your Kids

Another Christmas, another tragedy, as a London woman is mauled to death by a dangerous dog. When police officers attended the scene, it took several of them to get the Belgian mastiff off its unfortunate victim, using riot shields to corral the beast into another room, where it was eventually shot dead by a police marksman.

The woman died of her injuries at the scene.

An eminent dog breeder advised potential owners to exercise care before selecting their pet, adding, perhaps unnecessarily, that to keep a large, powerful, energetic dog in a small house or flat, could lead to such an animal becoming frustrated.

In other words - stating the bleedin' obvious.

Yet still it remains legal for people to keep dangerous dogs in inappropriate environments, with the exception of a small number of proscribed breeds.

Having recently had an unpleasant experience with a dangerous dog, we here at Skoob News utterly fail to grasp the twisted logic of stupid, idiotic people who keep these dogs and then fail to take adequate care of them.

These dogs need space, and exercise, and a great deal of it. SN advises readers that if they see an idiot struggling to control a barrel chested killing machine (probably named Tyson) whilst out on their perambulations, to give such beasts and their owners a wide berth.

Should that animal decide to attack, there is little possibility that the negligent owner will be able to control it, and the possibility of such an event having tragic consequences remains very real.

As one Daily Mail reader commented on the newspaper's website: "Something ought to be done about this."

The worrying thing is that these dogs, if not properly cared for, can break at any point and fly into a frustrated rage, and it doesn't just happen at Christmas - it can happen at any time of the year.

If people took dogs as pets, and companions, and kept nice dogs like golden retrievers and cocker spaniels instead of trying to look hard with pit bulls and Staffordshire bull terriers, we wouldn't be presenting this news item.

The family dog should want to snuggle up with your kids, not try to eat them.

But you can kick an idiot half to death, and when he recovers, he'll still be an idiot. The sad fact is that there are a lot of stupid people out there.

More as we get it.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
