image for Newcastle Univesity Researchers Have Found Rudolph Safe and Well Inside a Brain
Dean I.M.N Oldgeezer of Newcastle University

"A close-up image of a blood vessel in the brain has amazed scientists with its likeness to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

When stories reached researchers at the world renowned 'Newcastle University', that Rudolph was missing, they gathered in the laboratory to do some 'brainstorming'.

They decided to hold the Researchers' Christmas Party at the same time, thereby killing two birds with one stone.

Ignoring the warning not to operate x-ray machinery whilst under the influence of alcohol and other mind-altering substances, which was painted in 30cm high letters on the wall of the laboratory, they went ahead, drinking copious amounts of home-made alcohol from a still in the back room and x-raying each others' brains.

When they developed the x-rays they were amazed to see that they had, in fact, found out where Rudolph weas hiding - inside the brain of Proffesor Irma Nitt. Clear as day the reindeer could be seen, antlers, tail, nose and legs.

When word was 'out' reporters and t.v. crews rushed to the University only to find the researchers incoherent and in major denial when told that it wasn't Rudolph at all....just a clump of blood vessels highly magnified.

The researchers are 'drying out' at the University's Hospital, at taxpayers' expense.

Make Lady Godiva's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
