image for Good news for the Government at last?
Are we headed for a Boston Tea Party?

Just when all the news was bad and all reactions to the cuts were beginning to worry the Government, the Trades Union Congress may have come to their aid.

Talk of strikes and civil disobedience might stir the TUC membership but will enable the Government to be seen as standing against the mob.

The thought of losing your job does not engender ease of mind, however, and it could be that the TUC having some control over demonstrations is better than no one in control.

Clearly, the battle is not yet over. Keeping those LibDems on board is continual hard work and the worst is yet to come.

So many economists have such a range of predictions about the future not even George Osborne, colossus that he is, can be sure of managing another recession, if it comes.

So there we have it folks. Roll up, roll up! The battle of the decade. No one with sense is betting on the outcome.

Watch this space for masterly analysis and informed opinion being read and digested by some of the most powerful people in the land!

Make j.w.'s day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
