image for Tensions High As Soupathon Goes South
Feeney - Chicken

Tony Blair has just left town and it has not taken the rioters long to find their next target. Some may say that the thugs have every reason to be upset as they find that the much anticipated Soupathon 2010 (TM) is in serious doubt due to the fun killing mentality of one of its competitors.

In fact its not just the thugs who are being swept away in the see of rage. Local vintners have said that 'Christmas may have to be cancelled for our families this year.

The annual Soupathon drove thousands of people to the pub with the promise of catching a glimpse of their heroes in action.

'I just cannot see where the revenue will come from now. You ruined Christmas Feeney' --Damien from an unnamed local Lafferty's pub.

It had been reported in government that the financial crisis may have been resolved with the tourism that a top Soupathon would bring. It appears now the the only people who will gain from this are the Germans as they plan for their annual Octoberfest and get out of recession. That is if Feeney does not decide to go over and ruin it for that nation too.

So what next I hear you ask? Burn cars in the street, riot, loot in disgust? No we shall take our vengeance out in thee way that we know best. Go to the local, drown our sorrows and hope that the generations after us will not blame us for the economic meltdown that they will being paying for due to the selfishness not of the bankers but of Feeney.

There is already talk in government circles of how we can prevent a soupathon being brought to its knees by one man. Legislation is being brought forward to the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, and the President of Soupathon, Tony Hession to bring Feeney to Timbuktu and remove him of his passport. Personally I think we will still be able to smell the stink of his antics from there.

All one can hope for now is that Hesh Mesh does not renege on his promise to get a hair cut. Sister Selina Hession has been in tears recently stating 'its not fair that Tony has more hair than I do'! If Tony does decide to back down on his promise then I think we can safely say that Ireland is closed for business.

Congratulations to Kevin Morissey for doing all he can to get Soupathon 2010 (TM) up and running. It may have been an empty victory for him, but a victory none the less. Lets hope he will not shame the sport he loves so much by not attempting to defend his title.
