Labour leadership hopefuls David and Ed Miliband have confirmed that profits from their latest album will be given to charity.

The brothers have released a greatest hits CD covering six album's worth of tracks from their successful but controversial Mili Vanilli period including "The Best of Mili Vanilli", "Mili Vanilli Greatest Hits Volume 1" and "Thatcher is a bitch, die bitch die."

Their press officer, Shaun Windows XP, said "David and Ed were so moved by Tony Blair's gesture to the British Legion that they felt they too could give something back. Obviously they're fully engaged with the leadership campaign but their music will always come first and that's why they have decided to donate the profits from the new collection to a worthy cause."

A spokesman for the chosen charity, Brother Beyond Remixing Lives, was unavailable for comment.
