image for Jesus attends Gay Pride

Revellers at the 2010 Brighton Gay Pride where shocked and thrilled when Jesus made a surprise appearance at the festival.

"I couldn't believe it was him!" Said a man (or lesbian?)

Jesus was in town promoting his new book, "The Bible: Uncut" which goes on sale Friday and features never before heard stories and commandments.

Mr Cross, a publicist for The Son of God said that "Brighton Pride was too good of an opportunity to miss. Jesus had a few spare hours before he had to attend an interview for ITV's "Loose Women," so we decided to go along to Pride and plug his new book."

Jesus, who suspiciously never married, declined a float ride at the head of the Parade, stating this was "A step too far."

However he fully participated in most of the other days activities, coming away with a Rainbow Flag, butterfly face-paint and a large tub of vaseline which he claimed was for his "Dry lips..."

"The Bible: Uncut" is available from Friday at all good bookstores and retails at £19.95.

Make Philip Wright's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
