The Isle Of Wight Left wing Party, today announced a plan to rename the island a; "Less racist colour orientated name that would be less offensive to black and asian cultures"

Asked what the new name would be, Rosaline Lentilsoup, leader of the Leftie Party said; "We think a name that would reflect the multicultural society of this island and ensure the balanced race relationship between the cultures of this community should reflect, in its name a standard for all peoples to recognise they are part of the make up up of its Britishness as a standard bearer of humanity and understanding coupled with tolerance and good will".

Asked what she thought would be a suitable name, she replied; "I have consulted with several community activists and vegans and they, like me, feel it is a name that shows how advanced we are as a nation and people, that we can come together and rewrite the history of slavery and oppression with a simple but effective word, sign or name that will enhance relationships not just with our community, but with others around the word"

Pressed as to what we should now call the island, Ms Lentilsoup said; "I DON'T FUKIN KNOW"!!!!

Deputy Leader, Russell Radish stated; "I think we should rename this island, The Isle Of Neutral".

As yet, we have had no statement from the other political parties on the island.
